I’m sorry i havent been updating my blog for a while… the truth is I’ve been too busy with nothing interesting.
Today i got inspired by a conversation I had with some friends – which is bigger : HK or Singapore. I just had to google to find out and now you know. Here are some interesting facts about Singapore and HK that I got from CIA The World Factbook:
- Total Land size : SG 682 sq. KM (compared to HK : 1,042 sq.km)
- Population : SG 4.7million (HK 7.06million)
- SG’s independence day is 9 August 1965, the date it separated from Malaysia
- Birth rate / 1,000 population : SG 8.82 (HK 7.42) – this means that there are more singaporean babies being born/1,000 population compared to HK.
- Inflation rate in 2008 : SG 4.3% (HK 2.1%) – i did notice that price of things are more expensive in SG compared to HK
- Median age : SG 39 (HK 42) – this means that Singapore has a younger population compared to HK.
There are more interesting facts from the website.
